Brief Details
8th -11th grade students are eligible to tryout (including Running Start students)
No prior cheer or tumbling experience is required, we’ll teach you!
You don't have to be flexible or able to do the splits
We are flexible with schedules for those who will be participating in a spring sport (for MS and HS)
We offer 2 seasons to students:
All year (cheering for football, basketball, and competition)
Season is April ‘25 through March ‘26, with breaks throughout the season
A great option for All Star cheerleaders is to cheer "all year" and opt out of high school competitions. This would allow the AS cheerleader to compete with their gym and still cheer for games. Some practices during the week are mandatory during the winter season.
Winter season (cheering for basketball with competition optional)
This option allows students to play a fall sport, such as: Volleyball, Girls Soccer, Cross Country, Football, Boys Water Polo, Girls Swim & Dive, and Boys Tennis
Season is April ‘25 - June ‘25, then November ’25 through March ‘26
Practices and games are in the evening
Students will need a current physical and updated Final Forms in order to join tryouts
